San Sebastian is a city that meets the expectations of even the most demanding people. Here you can enjoy art and culture, visiting numerous museums including the San Telmo Museum, the only one in the region dedicated to Basque society, or the Naval Museum. Just beside the latter you can visit the Aquarium with its acrylic 360º tunnel suspended in the water. The city celebrates important festivals throughout the summer, such as the Jazzaldia jazz festival in July, the Quincena Musical classical music festival in August and the San Sebastian International Film Festival in September.
You can also enjoy the romantic flavour of San Sebastian with its elegant late-19th century buildings of French inspiration, its gardens and parks, not to mention its bustling pedestrian and commercial avenues.
The beaches are another of the big attractions. Each one has its own personality: the Concha, the best known and Ondarreta, more family-oriented, make up the Concha Bay. The Zurriola, with its younger vibe, has become the favourite with surfers. Also there for your enjoyment is the quiet little beach on Santa Clara Island.
